At close combats, they can outmatch all other units. Ranged Units: The Ranged Units can attack from a distance and can cause significant damage. However, they cannot defend themselves well, so they end up becoming easy prey for all other units. Artillery Units: These units are very slow and have an extremely weak defense.

You might have noticed that negotiating from the beginning can take a big bite from your goods storage. Manual fighting will save you a lot of goods and you will be able to gain more than you invested. “Manual fighting? Can I not just use auto battle?”, you ask. Auto battle button is nice if you are sure you won’t have any casualties but in order to fight further in GE, you will need to fight manually.It is important to remember that the battlefield has different types of terrain that your units can use to gain a boost for attack or defense.
The enemy units will also target certain units first so it is good to know what you have against you. You will probably be attacked and plundered many times in this game. To prevent plundering, you can set a defending army for your city. This consists of 8 units that will always recover after someone has attacked you which means they can’t die and disappear from your army while defending your city.
This is why you can choose unattached units for your defense.On PC, click the helmet icon on the lower left corner. Then follow instructions below.
On mobile, click the arrow on the left bottom and click the icon with the helmet. Then follow instructions below.Once in troops overview, click the blue icon with a helmet and a shield. Click the units you want to place in your defending army.
They will be highlighted blue after selecting them. Click again on the blue icon and the selection cursor will switch off. Some more tips:Go for units that can’t be killed with one sort of units. One rogue is fine but try not to fill your entire defending army with rogues because they are not very good in defense. Change your defending army once in a while because the attackers will see your army when in battle and possibly note it down for the next time to attack with troops that are more efficient against your army.

Positions 1 to 5 give a reward which depends on the GB and the level of it. If you are holding a reward position when the GB is leveled, you gain the reward and it goes in your inventory. The FP rewards stack in your inventory too, not in your FP pool. You can store them there as long as you wish.
Gain specific BPsBlueprints can be gained from events, GE, aiding others and as a reward from donating to GBs. If you are hunting some specific BPs the best ways are:.Aiding (mot/pol) buildings from the same era as the GB for which you need BPs (does not work for observatory prints).Donating fp to that specific GB in someone else’s town and trying to gain a reward position that offers prints as rewards (works also for observatory prints).Temple of Relics BPs are easiest to gain from GE or donating to other players’ ToRs.Observatory prints are sometimes offered as rewards during events which is also a rather easy way to gain themUseful linksAuthor Posted on Categories, Tags,. You see a message asking to add DA (Defending Army) on some GvG sector. You have no idea how that is done?
No problem, this guide will walk you through the process!. Go to GvG map overview (icon on the bottom left of your screen with a shield and 3 sectors pictured on yellow button). Click the era where you want to add DA. Our sectors are highlighted with green.
When you bring your mouse over the sectors, you can see their coordinates. Find the sector that needs DA, click the sector and choose “view sector”. Now you need to choose 8 units from that era. Try to use mixed armies with maximal 2 rogues. It’s better to use attached units as you can build them always again, avoid placing unattached units in GvG DA. Click the orange arrow on the right side in order to place your units on the sector.
